Cyber gamers from all over the country has a reason to celebrate once more as Netopia, the biggest internet café chain in the country, recently re-launched the most anticipated nationwide gaming event for 2010.

The Netopia CyberLeague “Champions meet Champions” tournament brings together foremost game enthusiasts from all over the country to battle it out for cyber supremacy. It also gathers the biggest cybergame publishers in the country such as Level Up, E-Games and Eagle Game to establish a solid gaming community.

“With the rise of the gaming community, Netopia is fast becoming the leading caterer for cybergamers in the country, and with this we shoot for being branded as the number 1 gaming hub nationwide,” expressed Netopia President George Tan.

Interested gamers are to register from May 1 to December 31, 2010 for the cybergame they wish to participate in. The online tourney is comprised of an elimination round which starts on January 15, 2011 in Netopia branches nationwide.

The Grand CyberLeague event will be on May 27 & 28, 2011.

The Netopia CyberLeague will also host a ‘Cosplay’ or Costume competition wherein participants dress up as their favorite game characters. Two titles are up for the Cosplay competition each from the “Specific Game” and “Express yourself” categories.

The 2-day Final Round event in October shall hold the grand face off among cybergamers and the finals for the Cosplay Competition to determine who will bring home the honor of the being the CyberLeague 2010 Grand Champion.
